More than half of all Yemeni hospitals have been closed or destroyed and the country has only 700 intensive care units and 500 ventilators for a population of more than 30,000,000. Even more concerning is that Western aid agencies have largely withdrawn their support for Yemeni refugees in response to recent advances by the Houthi rebels in the north.
